Wednesday, 22. April 2020

ServerBase Meet is our new free service that enables secure video conferencing. It is available to customers and non-customers and doesn’t require registration. Meet offers the following functions:

  • Audio and video conferencing
  • Share the screen contents for all participants
  • Recording of conferences
  • Encrypted communication
  • Password protection for conferences
  • Smartphone apps for iOS and Android available
  • All servers operated in Switzerland by ServerBase

Visit https://meet.serverbase.ch and enter any conference name to start a new conference. Send the conference link to all participants so that they can dial in. Once a conference has been started, you can define a password if desired.

Enter a meeting name and start the conference. Preferably use Google Chrome as your browser.

The first time you use Meet, you must allow your browser to access your microphone and camera.

Once the meeting has started, all controls for screen sharing (1), chat (2), mute (3), camera on/off (4), participant arrangement (5) and for defining a password (6) are displayed.

If desired, define a password so that only authorized participants can join the video conference.
