The highly available Cluster VPS will continue to run even if our server hardware fails. They are freely configurable, can be easily scaled and are provided with SSD storage. Use our provided Windows Server and Linux images or install any operating system with your own ISO image.

Our Cluster VPS product has been integrated into our new platform “awesome.cloud“. There, thanks to the self-service portal, you have the possibility to create new VPS at any time according to your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Does my VPS receive a fixed IP address?

    Yes, every VPS is assigned a fixed IPv4 and optionally several IPv6 addresses. With Cluster VPS, multiple IPv4 addresses or subnets are possible and an / 64 IPv6 subnet can be allocated.

  • Is backup storage included?

    For standard and SSD VPS, a 20 GB FTP backup can be requested. Please contact our support team. In our Cluster VPS, Managed Backup is already included. The entire server is transferred to our second data center every night.

  • Is there a traffic limit?

    We do not limit traffic and rely on the fair use policy. The operation of download, streaming mirror servers is not permitted under the terms and conditions. For resource-intensive projects, please contact our Sales team in advance.

  • Can snapshots be created?

    For Standard and SSD VPS this feature is currently not available. For our Cluster VPS, snapshots can be ordered optionally.
  • Is a console available?

    Yes, Standard and SSD VPS have a noVNC HMTL5 Viewer, which can be launched from the Customer Center. Cluster VPS can be accessed through vSphere Viewer.
  • Which operating systems are supported?

    Standard and SSD VPS support the following operating systems: Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Windows Server 2016. For Cluster VPS we support the following operating systems: Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016.

  • Which virtualization do you use?

    Standard and SSD VPS are operated with KVM. For Cluster VPS we use VMWare. Thus, all systems are operated with full virtualization.
  • What is the internet connection of the server?

    The servers have shared 1 Gbps Internet connections. For Cluster VPS dedicated connections at 100 Mbps or 1 Gbps are available and can be ordered. If you need a dedicated connection, contact our Sales team.
