Hosted Exchange migration completed

After a six week migration period, the migration of Hosted Exchange to version 2019 was completed on time by the end of November. For you as a customer, this means the following new features:

  • From now on, mailbox sizes are unlimited (fair use). There is no longer a storage limit for Hosted Exchange.
  • The maximum size for sending and receiving emails is increased to 200 MB.
  • There is an updated version of Outook Web App (webmail).
  • Security: TLS 1.2 will be pushed on the new infrastructure and TLS 1.0/1.1 will no longer be supported. Older clients (Windows 7 and older) will require customization.

Impact on client versions

With Exchange 2019, the following client versions are no longer supported and will no longer receive support from Microsoft and ServerBase:

  • Microsoft Outlook 2007
  • Microsoft Outlook 2010
  • Outlook for Mac 2011
