With FileDrop every user gets a storage quota which can be used for data sharing.
Upload your sensitive or large files to FileDrop and send the share link by e-mail to the recipient. To download the files, the recipient must enter his email address and will then receive a second email with the effective download link. Only after authentication with a password and optionally a second factor the download will start.
If you need to receive files securely, send the sender a link to your personal FileDrop box. The sender uploads his files and you will be notified by e-mail. All you have to do then is simply download the files.
The data transmission is protected by strong 256-Bit SSL encryption, each download requires a one or two-factor authentication and is logged. Uploaded files are automatically scanned for viruses in our Swiss data centers. As the sender, you define whether your files are automatically deleted after a certain number of downloads or days.
Add your files directly to emails as attachments, whereupon the FileDrop Outlook plugin automatically uploads them to FileDrop and inserts the link in the email. Security doesn’t have to be complicated.
