In collaboration with Labdoo.org, we are collecting discarded laptops at the end of the year, which will be given a second life in schools, homes, children’s and youth projects at home and abroad. The IT donations are processed and all data securely deleted (multiple overwriting with random numbers).
They will be made fit again with child-friendly learning software (Linux) and learning content (OER) – including an offline lexicon, multimedia language course and royalty-free eBooks, if online access is not possible on site.
If you have working (even very old) laptops that you would like to donate, please contact us. We will inform you about the next steps. Labdoo.org and thousands of kids and teens will appreciate your contribution to a better world.
