Managed Clients are small, power-saving devices optimized for accessing My Workplace 2.0, which are leased at a monthly fixed price. Long waiting times due to slow system starts or Windows updates are gone. Installation and support are included and in case of a faulty device we will replace it free of charge.
The Managed Clients are operated with a Linux operating system that is optimized and streamlined for accessing My Workplace 2.0. This means that they start up in a few seconds and the time-consuming installation of Windows updates is not necessary any more. They are delivered preconfigured and only need to be plugged in.
With their small size, Managed Clients are suitable for any workstation and can even be attached to the back of most displays with the VESA mount. They have a low power consumption and are quiet in operation.
Thanks to the optimized operating system of the Managed Clients, malfunctions are very rare. Should there be a problem, we will replace the Managed Client free of charge and on the next day by mail. You plug in the new device and can continue working immediately.
Connect two Full-HD displays or one 4K and one Full-HD display to the Managed Client via the two integrated HDMI ports. The four USB 3.0 ports allow the use of any keyboard, mouse or USB stick. A 3.5mm headphone/headset jack and a network port complete the connection options.
Do you do simple office work or are you a power user? My Workplace 2.0 Standard includes standardized virtual desktops with Microsoft Office and popular web browsers, while My Workplace 2.0 Business offer allows advanced customization and custom applications. With My Workplace 2.0 Extreme, power users get dedicated VDIs or even dedicated hardware for each virtual desktop.
